Central Procurement Consultants (CPC), a diversified and dynamic local based firm specializing in supply chain consultancy work, has just scored a top-notch goal by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Zimbabwe (UZ), Centre for Post graduate Studies (CPS).
This unique relationship is now enabling CPC and UZ to jointly work on the development of training material, offering the same and issuing of certificates of attendance to the trainees.
CPC did undertake a survey that reflected a huge skills gap within the supply chain professional and equally lack of outright recognition as compared with other professions like Accountancy. Given the time constraints of most practising people in supply chain areas like procurement, operations, warehousing and logistics; CPC has developed a niche whereby short training courses and workshops are offered.
In addition to the short courses and workshop option, CPC provides dedicated service channel whereby various customised training programmes are availed to individualistic organisations. This is a big advantage because it allows customers to amass latest global-practical knowledge, dynamics and current currents with the supply chain arena. Training will be offered using facilities at the University of Zimbabwe are very conducive for learning purpose.
